About our Staff, Board, and Beyond

Staff:

Sarah McCarthy- Director of Operations

Sarah McCarthy took over day to day operations for the cemetery in 2017. She is native to the area and has close connections to the community she serves. She is currently the sole care taker of the cemetery’s day to day business administration and grounds maintenance.

Sarah has a passion for gardening and is an amateur permaculture designer, which she uses in her day to day when working on the grounds.

Sarah has a bachelors in Counseling and Human Services from Chestnut Hill College, and worked in property management as both a Real Estate Agent and Office Manager for 15 years.

Board of Directors:

Tammy Hartzell RN- Tammy is Certified School Nurse at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School (PALCS).

Gregory Brady- Owner Operator at Smithbridge Records.

Ruffian Tittmann- Executive Director of The Friends of the Wissahickon.
